The summer signing from Histon had to be replaced after half-an-hour of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Stockport and is set for a scan to determine the extent of the problem.

Simon Walton replaced Mitchel-King in midweek and the midfielder, who is on loan from Plymouth for the remainder of the season, should make his full debut if Mitchel-King does not make it.

Clayton Donaldson is definitely out after scans revealed he broke a bone in his leg in the defeat at Bournemouth. The striker is expected to be missing for around two months.

Goalkeeper David Button has rejoined the club on loan from Tottenham and he is expected to reclaim the number one jersey from Adam Legzdins.

Youngsters AJ Leitch-Smith and Chris Clements are set to return form their loan spells with Icelandic club IBV on Friday but will not be included in the squad. They could come into the reckoning for the trip to Shrewsbury next weekend.
