Goalkeeper Adam Legzdins has rejected a new one year contract at Gresty Road. 23-year old Legzdins has only made eight apperances for the Railwaymen since joining from Birmingham City back in 2008.The Stafford born keeper had to wait 14 months to make his debut after being dogged by injuries in the first season. He was loaned out to Blue Square Premiership side Weymouth back in March 2009 where he made eight apperances.Legzdins played the last three games of the season conceding only 2 goals and put in some excellent displays.Dario Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke "He probably would have started the season in goal so I was surprised that he didn't take up the offer. "Credit to him, he wants to play in a first team somewhere, but I don't think he'll go for more than we offered him." The club will be owed compensation as Legzdins is under the age of 24 but the club will only look for a minimal amount.
