Grant could miss Cheshire derby

Grant had to be withdrawn 10 minutes from the end of the 2-2 home draw against league leaders Rochdale on Boxing Day after sustaining a knock.[LNB]It means that caretaker manager Dario Gradi could be forced to change his starting line-up for the first time in five matches.[LNB]Should that be the case, Byron Moore - Grant's replacement against Rochdale - could keep the shirt and make his first start since mid-November.[LNB]Gradi was able to include Steve Schumacher and Shaun Miller for the first time in a month against Rochdale and the midfielder and striker are expected to be named among the substitutes once more at Moss Rose.[LNB]Meanwhile, Gradi has tipped his side to make the play-offs after they twice came from behind to snatch a point against Dale on Saturday.[LNB]Gradi's men dominated from the off but needed goals from Ashley Westwood and Matt Tootle to cancel out second-half strikes from Craig Dawson and Kallum Higginbotham at Gresty Road.[LNB]Gradi said: "If we play like that every week then the play-offs are a reality for us now.[LNB]"I thought they might have been a few weeks ago but I wasn't sure if we were too frail mentally and at the front and the back but we are getting better all the time now.[LNB]"I said to the lads before this game that we would find out if we were good enough to get up there and we have proved that we are. I think they are beginning to believe it and so am I now.[LNB]"It's a long time since I have seen a game as good as that. It was football being played the way it should be - it's not war, it's a game of skill."[LNB][LNB]
