Gradi: We need cutting edge

Crewe boss Dario Gradi has called on his strikers to be more clinical in front of goal. Calvin Zola was forced off with a hamstring strain in the early stages of Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Rochdale, leaving youngsters Shaun Miller and Byron Moore to take centre stage. But the forward duo failed to make an impact at Spotland, much to the frustration of Gradi. "The front two did struggle to make a mark on the game and I cannot remember either of them threatening the goal too often," Gradi told the club's official website. "That is what we need to do. "They found it difficult, but in fairness to them the service up to them wasn't particularly good either. "They certainly didn't show the same quality as Rochdale's front two and that is what they have got to aim for."
