Gradi upbeat despite another defeat

Crewe manager Dario Gradi refused to be too downbeat despite seeing his side fall to their fifth defeat in six league matches following their 3-1 loss to Bury. Despite taking a half-time lead thanks to Shaun Miller's strike, Kyle Bennett bagged a brace before Ryan Lowe sealed victory for the Shakers. Gradi said: "We're not hopeless, we wouldn't be where we are if we were. "We're just having a hard time at the moment. We had a good January and now we need to have a good March. "This was always going to be a hard game, I'd have settled for 1-1 before the game. "You can say we keep letting in goals but it wasn't the defence's fault. The strikers haven't kept the ball well. My problem is trying to get them to do something different, which I've been trying all season."
