Gradi ponders changes

Crewe boss Dario Gradi has hinted he will make changes to his starting line-up in the home clash with Accrington. Gradi was unhappy with his side's performance during the 2-1 defeat to Oxford on Saturday and insisted changes are needed. He told the club's official website: "I may do something slightly different on Tuesday. I told Steve (Davis) about what I had in mind on the way back from Oxford. It's something we will discuss and debate." Striker AJ Leitch-Smith could be in line for a recall following his late consolation against the U's and could possibly partner 20-goal top-scorer Clayton Donaldson in attack. Full-back Matt Tootle is also pushing for a recall after returning to the squad following a virus, while midfielders Ashley Westwood and Danny Shelley are also options. Alex are currently four points off a play-off place.
