Gradi now wants Crewe to kick on

Gradi recorded his first win since returning as caretaker boss as the Gresty Road club ended a five-game losing streak with a 3-2 triumph in west Yorkshire. The Alex legend said: "There's no doubting the enthusiasm of the boys, but there's a few things to improve on. "The real bonus was winning the game with a bit of style, but we will do even better than that with time. "This was a good result for the fans. I'm quite sure some of them weren't sure about me coming back, but it is up to me to change the fortunes of the side over a period of time. "However, it's not going to be easy to achieve here what we've done before."
