Gradi: Miller is Championship quality
Crewe boss Dario Gradi believes Shaun Miller can emulate fellow Alex academy product Nicky Maynard and play in the Championship.
Gradi sees similarities between the 23-year-old and Maynard, who left Gresty Road for Bristol City in a £2.25million deal in the summer of 2008.
"I have always compared Shaun with Nicky," said Gradi. "I always thought they were similar when they were coming through the academy here. They both had pace and scored a lot of goals.
"Shaun has not reached Nicky's standard yet but he could do. He is having a really good run this season and scored goals.
"He could go on and play higher. He has all the necessary attributes and just has to keep on improving."
