Gradi keeps the faith for Bulls clash

Caretaker boss Dario Gradi considered recalling on-loan defender Harry Worley and midfielder Danny Shelley but has elected to stick with the XI that started Saturday's 2-0 defeat.

"I will make changes as the match goes on if needs be," said Gradi.

Midfielders James Bailey (abdominal) and Joe Grant (foot) and leading scorer Calvin Zola (eye) remain out.

Fourteen-goal striker Zola is set to see a specialist about the problem after a ball struck him in the face in training last week.

Meanwhile, Crewe have handed a trial to former Celtic trainee Dan Gardner. The 19-year-old striker, who plays for Vodkat Premier League side Flixton, will spend a month training at Gresty Road.
