Gradi keen on Taylor extension

Crewe are looking to extend the loan spell of Chelsea goalkeeper Rhys Taylor, manager Dario Gradi has confirmed. The 20-year-old stopper was signed as cover for the injured Steve Phillips and has made six appearances for the Railwaymen this season. "He's keen to stay and I'm keen for him to stay, the question is on what basis," Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke. "He's done well, he's very quick and he keeps the ball out of the net which is a good start." "Chelsea have been tracking him and they're pleased with him, they're pleased with us and he's happy here. "I'd like his for as long as possible but I don't want to trap him should he lose his place to Steve Phillips."
