Gradi hopes prolific scorer emerges

Dario Gradi is pleased to see Crewe spreading the goals around the team this season - but the Alex boss still wants a prolific scorer to emerge. Gradi's side are the second highest scorers in League Two behind Rotherham, with seven different players contributing to their 15-goal tally. Shaun Miller leads the way with four goals, while Clayton Donaldson, Luke Murphy and defender Dave Artell have two apiece. Gradi said: "It is a positive for us that we are spreading the goals around and it is good to see a defender (Artell) getting some goals for a change. "However, that prolific scorer hasn't emerged at the moment. The first one who establishes himself will be the first name on my team sheet."
