Gradi: Good experience for Powell
Crewe manager Dario Gradi believes teenager Nick Powell will have learned a lot after making his first-team debut against Blackpool.
The 16-year-old midfielder, who has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs, played the final 30 minutes of the 1-0 victory at Gresty Road on Tuesday night.
"First of all he couldn't get a kick and then he went on a good run and nearly made something out of nothing," said Gradi.
"He is not ready yet but it will have been a good experience for him."
