Byron Moore and Joel Grant twice put Alex ahead at Gresty Road on Tuesday but Grimsby twice hit back through Jean-Louis Akpa-Akpro and Dean Sinclair.[LNB]Second-half goals from Ashley Westwood and Clayton Donaldson saw off the spirited Mariners, with Martin seeing red for a late challenge on Michael Leary in between the goals.[LNB]Gradi said: "The players were magnificent going forward in the first half and could have scored six so we couldn't believe we came in at half-time at 2-2. I said to the players that they must have felt like they had been hit below the belt twice.[LNB]"I didn't see the sending off but I wasn't happy with the full-back because he was ignoring my instructions to pass the ball.[LNB]"I told him to stop playing like Roy of the Rovers and I am glad he has got a ban because it will save me having to drop him. If he ignores me again that will be his career over here as he could have cost us the game."[LNB][LNB]
