Gradi content with Crewe point

Crewe manager Dario Gradi was content to take a point from his side`s goalless draw at home to Accrington. The closest either side came to a breakthrough was in the 13th minute when the visitors saw Sean McConville's turn and shot come down off the crossbar and appear to cross the line, only to be left stunned as linesman Andrew Hutchinson's flag stayed down. Gradi said: "It was a good game played at a good standard and we had a go but I am happy to settle for a point. They made more chances than us and if any team was going to win it it was them so I am pleased with a point. "Danny Shelley had our best chance but he didn't show enough conviction to score and made it too easy for the goalkeeper. "We should be doing better than Accrington but they are doing very well with their limited resources. "Our problem is the link with our two frontmen. They are very good at running at goal and scoring but they both struggle with their link-up play."
