Gradi calls for Crewe to be more ruthless

Crewe boss Dario Gradi has called on his side to be more clinical despite thumping Lancaster City 8-1 at the weekend. Gradi was frustrated that the Unibond Division One North outfit were allowed to get on the scoresheet and felt his side should have added to their tally at the other end. "There still appears to be a small problem with the converting of the chances we create," he told the club`s official website. "We still need to be more clinical and the ratio will get better. "I was disappointed with their goal. It was a silly one to give away, so we will have to do some work on that and the strikers getting in behind. "Of course, it is hard to tell how good we can be when we are playing part-time players but there were certainly some good things to take from the performance."
