Gradi backing young talent

Crewe boss Dario Gradi insists he will not hesitate to give youngsters Harry Davis and Kelvin Mellor their chance to shine in the upcoming back-log of fixtures. The defensive duo have featured heavily in recent squads, although they have just one substitute appearance between them so far this campaign. However, Gradi told Crewe`s official website: "We have a lot of fixtures and will need everyone. "We do have quite a lot of our own youngsters here. Some of them have limited experience but they may get a chance to show what they can do in the next month or so. "They are improving all the time and Harry and Kelvin are ready enough to play if necessary. "I would put them in and they will be considered like everyone else here. That is what this club thrives on and they just have to train well and make sure they are ready."
