Gradi admits to ugly win

Crewe boss Dario Gradi was not overly enamoured with the spectacle provided as his side won 2-0 to condemn Stockport to relegation from the Football League. The goals coming in the second half as Alan Goodall put through his own net and Clayton Donaldson notched his 28th of the season. "It wasn't a game to remember," said Gradi. "It was windy, the ball was bouncing around and they were good and had a plan. "They passed the ball better than us, but we had a bit of luck with their goal and then Clayton Donaldson did well with our second. "Clayton deserved his goal because he was making their defenders turn and was making some good runs. "We should have conceded in the first minute but they missed it and that was a bit of luck we had."
