Bart Fogler has held talks with Crewe boss Dario Gradi with a view to signing a new deal with the League Two club. The Polish goalkeeper will be out of contract on January 1 but is hopeful of extending his stay at Gresty Road. Fogler is yet to make a first-team appearance for Gradi's side, but is determined to prove his worth to the veteran manager. He told the club's official website: "I am waiting for my chance and the competition is good here. Rhys (Taylor) is number one and I am back-up with Steve (Phillips). "I am like any footballer, I want to play and hopefully I will get a chance to show the fans what I can do. "I've started talking to Dario about a longer contract and that would be good because I have been month-to-month and I want to stay longer and have my future sorted out. If I get the chance to sign then I would, because I am happy here."
