Elding keen on permanent deal

The 26-year-old has been at the League Two club for the last three months and believes that Crewe may be prepared to let him leave in the summer. Elding, who hails from near Lincoln, told the Sentinel: "My last game for Lincoln will be emotional as I've come back home and I've loved every minute of it. "It's just a shame I can't stay until the end of the season, especially because the play-offs are in sight, but I definitely want to come back and, hopefully, the clubs can come to some arrangement. "I've got two years left on my Crewe contract, but I've heard rumours they are willing to sell and that £75,000 would be enough. That would be a decent deal because I know, given a full pre-season behind me and the fact I will be back home, I will score goals." Lincoln's game against Chesterfield at Saltergate on Tuesday night signals the end of Elding's loan spell with the Imps.
