Double Dons acquisition completed
Carrington, 22, has signed a two-year contract after being released by Crewe this summer while former Liverpool winger Partridge has penned a one-year deal after leaving relegated Chester.
Assistant manager Karl Robinson said: "Mark is only 22 but has fantastic potential and is someone we see as being able to take the club forward.
"Richie is someone who can play in a number of attacking positions and his experience with the likes of Liverpool and Sheffield Wednesday will be a big help to some of our young players.
"They are both hungry and ready to fit into the manager's approach."
