Relegated Crewe may have top-scorer Brad Inman back against battling Doncaster

Already-relegated Crewe may have top-scorer Brad Inman back in their starting line-up when the Sky Bet League One basement boys entertain Doncaster in their final home game of the season.

Inman made his first-team return after four games out with an ankle injury as a substitute in the 1-0 loss at Oldham last weekend, and the midfielder has subsequently come through a behind-closed-doors friendly against Stoke as he continues to build up his fitness.

Striker Lauri Dalla Valle, who has been sidelined by illness of late, could also be involved.

The Oldham result extended Crewe's winless run to 15 matches.

Doncaster will be without on-loan winger Gary McSheffrey, won has returned to parent club Scunthorpe due to a knee injury.

McSheffrey was forced off during the first half of last week's home win against former club Coventry and will be sidelined for up to six weeks.

Nathan Tyson is hoping to make his first start since the end of March in McSheffrey's absence.

Otherwise boss Darren Ferguson has no new injury or suspension problems as Doncaster chase the win required in their bid to keep their survival hopes alive.
