Dalla Valle could feature for Crewe

Lauri Dalla Valle is hopeful he can make his Crewe debut against Bristol City.

The Finnish striker, who has previously been on loan with the Alex, signed for the Sky Bet League One strugglers earlier this month only to sustain an ankle injury.

Club captain Matt Tootle is back in full training but will again be monitored for the virus which has forced him to miss seven games, while Brad Inman and Jon Guthrie have been kept away from training this week due to a bug.

Ryan Colclough (pelvis) remains injured and defender Alan Tate is due to play the final match of his loan spell before returning to Swansea.

Bristol City will have Todd Kane available for the trip.

The Chelsea loanee damaged his shoulder in the FA Cup win over AFC Telford earlier this month but has trained with his City team-mates this week and will return to contention for Steve Cotterill's table-topping side.

The Robins are a point clear at the top and with the exception of a few cough and cold victims, Cotterill has a fully-fit squad to select from.

Aaron Wilbraham started on the bench against Crawley last weekend and the former MK Dons man could be restored to the starting line-up.
