Crewe 'unlikely' to sign new blood

11 January 2010 01:56
Alex caretaker boss Dario Gradi has ruled out any business at Gresty Road during the January transfer window, unless his hand is forced by the sale of key squad members.

Top scorer Calvin Zola is attracting the attention of Championship clubs while Derby have been tipped to renew their interest in full-back John Brayford.

Baker said: "Although it is unlikely that we'll bring any more players in, we have been looking and ringing around. It's the contacts we make as much as anything.

"You never know what's going to happen at this end so we have got to have potential targets lined up."
