Collis braced for Alex departure

The 28-year-old has been told he can leave the club on loan or on a permanent basis by the Railwaymen manager. The former Southend and Yeovil keeper has slipped down the pecking order at the club following the loan signing of David Button and the early-season form of Adam Legzdins. He told the club's official website: "I thought my experience could have made a difference this season in what is a relatively young squad at Crewe. "I was happy to stay and fight for my place but when the manager decided to bring in another goalkeeper on loan then you realise it is going to be tough to play regularly. "I thought I could have done a job in League Two but the club prefer me to leave either permanently or on loan. We will have to see what happens and what options become available before the deadline."
