Bennett to Shakers' rescue Kyle Bennett came off the bench to spark a thrilling fightback as Bury came from behind to claim a 3-1 home win over Crewe. Bury looked out of sorts in the first half and in the 41st minute Clayton Donaldson charged down the right before slipping the ball inside for Shaun Miller, who kept his cool to convert his 14th of the season. But Bennett was then introduced on the hour mark and turned the game around with a five-minute brace. The 20-year-old winger equalised with the first goal of his senior career in the 64th minute when he pounced on a loose ball before firing in a superb second from 20 yards. Top scorer Ryan Lowe then struck in the 76th minute to condemn Crewe to a fifth defeat in six games, equalling a 53-year-old club record of scoring in seven consecutive league games. Lowe cut inside from the left to fire home from the edge of the box for his 22nd goal of the season and his eighth in seven games.
