The 31-year-old is available on a free transfer after leaving Bloomfield Road and enjoyed a spell on loan with the Railwaymen in the second half of last season.
He could not save Gudjon Thordarson's men from relegation to League Two but says he will now listen to any offers from the Cheshire outfit.
Broomes told The Sentinel: "I really enjoyed my time at Crewe, although it was disappointing we ended up going down.
"I had a good relationship with the manager and I enjoyed my football again.
"Every player wants to play at the highest level they can. But you can never say never if there is an offer put forward."
