Boss eager for confidence boost
The Railwaymen were hammered 5-1 by Northampton at Sixfields as the hosts run riot with debutant Billy Clarke getting a hat-trick.[LNB]Crewe skipper Julien Baudet was sent off for the foul which resulted in Danny Jackman scoring Northampton's second goal and he will be suspended for the match at London Road.[LNB]Thordarson said: "It will be a difficult game for us and I have got to lift my players again. We threw this one away in the first couple of minutes. We were sloppy from the start and I was disappointed with several individuals.[LNB]"I thought that some of them could have given more and performed much better than this.
