Blanchett linked with move to Championship.
Sky sports are reporting that Championship sides Doncaster Rovers and Brighton and Hove Albion who look likely to get promotion. 24-year-old Blanchett has been nearly been ever present this season for the Railwaymen since his move from Peterborough United last summer. The left-back signed a one year deal and that is due to expire come this summer. Crewe Mad understands that it does seem likely that Blanchett will not be offered a contract and the the Harrow born defender will be able to leave on a free transfer. Blanchett was linked with a potential move during the January transfer window but nothing came about but with more steady performances and it seems that more clubs may show more interest.
