Bell out for Crewe

10 December 2010 12:30
Lee Bell`s suspension means Danny Shelley could make his first start of the season when Crewe travel to Stockport. Bell will miss his first league game of the campaign after he was booked for the fifth time this season during the win at Morecambe and serves a one-match ban. Shelley, who has been restricted to just two substitute appearances this season, is in contention to replace Bell in the side along with Joel Grant and Nick Powell. Luke Murphy missed training at the start of the week with an ankle injury but he is expected to be fit. Gradi has defensive problems after Chris Hussey`s loan spell from Coventry was cut short by a foot injury. Patrick Ada is still nursing his foot problem and Mat Mitchel-King (hamstring) remains a doubt while Carl Martin is making slow progress in recovering from a series of ailments.
