Baudet signs Rapids agreement
The defender is out of contract in the summer and has decided a move abroad will provide a new challenge at this stage of his career.
Alex manager Gudjon Thordarson was keen to hold onto his skipper, but Baudet claimed the move was "too good to refuse".
Thordarson told Crewe's official website: "I would have loved to have kept him and I tried. I am disappointed for all of us, but on the other hand I am delighted for him.
"I tried to convince him to stay here and I know it was a difficult decision for him to make."
