Baker hails Railwaymen faithful
Alex, only one place and two points above the drop zone, host fellow strugglers Hartlepool on Saturday before bottom of the table Cheltenham visit Gresty Road next weekend.
Baker was full of praise for the Alex faithful that travelled to Swindon last week, and he said: "The supporters who travelled to Swindon were a real help to us. I think that was as good as it has been in numbers away from home, especially in terms of vocally supporting the players.
"The fans are really helping us at the moment. I can't over emphasise how much we really need them behind us at the minute. When they are wholeheartedly behind the players they can make a massive difference.
"We have massive games coming up and if we stick together in the remaining fixtures, then it will go a long way to keeping us in this division."
