"James Bailey has made a successful return to training and it is a very welcome return," Gradi told the club's official website.
"I am pleased to have James available because he can play in various positions. I wouldn't particularly like him to play at centre-half, but I know that if I did have to play him there he would know what to do.
"With a lot of games coming up in a short space of time he will prove very useful.
"He knows he has a fight on his hands to get into his preferred position of central midfield at the moment because the two that are currently in there have done well, but that will sort itself out over time."
