Alex youngsters earn rave reviews
The young duo have recently returned from loan spells with IBV, complete with a glowing reference from the Icelandic First Division club.
Thordarson told the club's official website: "The two boys did well over in Iceland and I watched them play for IBV in the summer when I was out there.
"The coaching staff have been impressed with them and the experience will have done them good.
"We have been pleased with them because they have embraced the challenge with the right attitude and used it to take themselves forward. They have grown as men and they have proved that they can be an asset for us.
"Their fitness levels are good. They look sharp and have developed physically. They will train with the first team and will now be under consideration like everyone else."
