Alex wait on Clayton
Crewe are confident Clayton Donaldson will be fit to face Aldershot at the weekend.
The striker was withdrawn as a precaution after twisting his knee during the victory at Southend on Saturday.
Alex boss Dario Gradi told the club`s official website: "I didn`t really see what happened with Clayton as I was following the ball.
"He has a sore knee and we took him off as a precaution. I didn`t think he would be able to continue but he shook it off. We don`t think it is anything too serious and expect him to be fit."
