Alex striker Elding told he can leave
The 27-year-old striker has struggled to break into the Alex side and has mainly featured from the bench this term.
Despite coming on as a 40th-minute substitute for the injured Calvin Zola in Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Notts County, Gradi has informed Elding he can look for a permanent move away from the club.
"I have told Anthony he can go out on loan or he can go (permanently) because there are a number of forward players ahead of him," he said. "We have to find a couple of strikers who are going to be consistent in front of goal.
"I don't know if any of the strikers we have here at the moment are going to do that and make us a promotion-looking team."
