Alex continue to look at trialists

"He is quick and strong and has good tricks. He has been really positive with his attitude and hasn't sat back and let anyone get the better of him. He has been aggressive and determined to show us what he can do," Crewe assistant manager Steve Davis told the club's official website. "He has put himself about and has been very positive in everything he has done. He is very athletic and comes with a good reputation because he has done very well for Wealdstone over the last few years. "He is still only young and can develop so we will continue to assess him this week, but he looks a good player and a decent prospect." Meanwhile, former Sheffield United centre-half Max Chanot has earned an extended trial at the club. The 19-year-old has been training with Alex and played in last week's 1-0 pre-season friendly defeat to Wolves. Davis added: "He has done very well and we haven't made a decision on him yet. He's a good lad who has a great attitude and who has worked hard while he's been here. He's only young so there is room for development as well and we are still looking at him."
