Alex boss set to be a loan arranger

So far, the Icelander has only added Patrick Ada and Mat Mitchel-King to his squad, following last season's relegation. And now, the Alex boss has indicated loans are probably his best way of bringing players in, due to the financial constraints at Gresty Road. "I have spoken to a number of clubs about the possibility of loaning some players in," Thordarson told the Crewe and Nantwich Guardian. "It could be a beneficial solution for us but again much will depend on the wages involved and if the player wants to come to League Two. "There are certain things that look positive in regards to two or three options and we will have to wait and we will have to wait and see what might materialise."
