Akinfenwa at the double for Town
Calvin Zola twice went close before Clayton Donaldson gave Crewe a 14th minute lead after he capitalised on a mistake by Patrick Kanyuka.[LNB]Crewe doubled their advantage two minutes before the break when John Johnson could only turn Zola's low cross into his own net.[LNB]But Akinfenwa reduced the arrears six minutes after the restart with a shot on the turn from the edge of the box.[LNB]And Northampton's top scorer put his side back on level terms in the 62nd minute with superb effort from the edge of the box.[LNB]Both sides could have won it late on with Chris Dunn pulling off a string of fine saves for Northampton, while Steve Phillips denied Josh Walker a late winner on his Northampton debut.[LNB][LNB]
