Valiants boss Micky Adams blasted the referee Chris Sarginson after he awarded Crewe a penalty in contoversial fashion. Adams told Radio Stoke "The one man who did think it was a penalty has given it," said Micky, about the controversial spot-kick on the hour which gave the visitors all three points. "I don't mind losing games of football but if you are going to be a manager, you have to accept that sometimes, things don't get well for you. "I am not saying my team did well and we did enough to win the game - but we certainly didn't deserve to lose it with a penalty that was so unjust, it's not true. "You would like to think that luck evens itself our over the course of the season. How long have we spent talking about the referee already? We should be talking about our inability at times - I think we had players who went missing. We didn't perform. It was a big game for us and we didn't deliver."Crewe will go away and will be delighted. I can't remember their keeper making too many saves and it had nil-nil written all over it. The referee's decision has changed it. We know we have been treated harshly today because where I was, and I had a perfect view of it, it was a great tackle.
