Reds looking strong for Robins test

Crawley boss Richie Barker should have a fully-fit squad to choose from when the struggling Reds host seventh-placed Swindon at Broadfield Stadium.

Midfielder Nicky Adams recovered from illness in time to start Saturday's goalless draw with Walsall while Billy Clarke made his first start following a five-week lay-off and both players should retain their places for the visit of the Robins.

Connor Essam will be unavailable after he joined Skrill Premier side Dartford on loan but the young defender should be Barker's only absentee.

Crawley will be hoping to end a winless run of six games in Sky Bet League One but will need to improve upon a league record of no wins in four against Swindon if they are to do so.

Swindon will be without Jay McEveley for the trip.

The former Blackburn full-back saw red in the dying minutes of their 3-1 defeat to Leyton Orient on Saturday and will sit out the trip through suspension.

Nathan Thompson started against Russell Slade's men despite an ankle problem and manager Mark Cooper may decide to bench the homegrown defender while Nathan Byrne was too ill to be involved on Saturday but hopes to return on Tuesday.

Ryan Harley played for 90 minutes despite suffering from a stiff back and he looks to start again but Ryan Mason, Alex Smith, Tijane Reis and Troy Archibald-Henville remain out.
