McFadzean missing for Crawley

Kyle McFadzean is Crawley's only absentee for the visit of Stevenage.

Defender McFadzean has been out since November when he was struck down by a virus and is still building up his fitness.

Captain Josh Simpson is fit after an ankle injury and could return to the starting line-up.

The midfielder had been sidelined for a month but came on as a second-half substitute in Tuesday night's 2-0 win over Crewe.

That is likely to be the only change manager Richie Barker makes with his side unbeaten in six matches and still in with an outside chance of reaching the play-offs.

Former Swansea striker Jamie Proctor keeps his place in attack after his quickfire brace secured victory over Crewe.

Marcus Haber returns to the Stevenage squad for the trip.

The striker has missed Boro's last two matches, defeats by Bury and Tranmere, as he was on international duty with Canada.

Defender Lee Hills is set to miss out again with a hamstring problem while winger Filipe Morais remains on the sidelines with an ankle knock along with long-term Achilles injury victim Jon Ashton.

Skipper Mark Roberts continues as caretaker player-boss and will start at centre-half.

Roberts took over for the Tranmere game on Sunday after Gary Smith was sacked last week.

Graham Westley has been linked with a return to the club he guided to back-to-back promotions but an appointment is not expected before the weekend.
