McFadzean banned for Crawley

John Gregory will have to make at least one change to his Crawley side when they host MK Dons.

Defender Kyle McFadzean was booked for the fifth time this season during Saturday's 3-2 victory over leaders Leyton Orient - Gregory's first win as Crawley boss - and serves a one-match ban.

Skipper Josh Simpson is set to miss out again due to a hamstring injury along with striker Emile Sinclair, who sat out at Orient with a thigh problem.

Jamie Proctor could return in attack if Gregory opts to rest veteran striker Gary Alexander.

MK Dons should have an unchanged squad.

Karl Robinson reported no new problems following the 3-0 home win over Port Vale on Saturday and the Dons boss must decide whether to name the same starting line-up or make a few tactical changes.

Stephen Gleeson has been ill and may be rested on Boxing Day while fellow midfielders Samir Carruthers and Darren Potter have only recently returned to the team after injury and could be used sparingly over the busy festive period.

Defender Antony Kay, fit again after hip surgery, made his first appearance in just under three months late on as a substitute against Vale and could be on the bench again. However, Daniel Powell, Luke Chadwick (foot), Dele Alli and Dean Bowditch (hip) are not yet ready to return.
