Reds to monitor Drury

Crawley will check on Andy Drury ahead of the visit of Colchester.

Midfielder Drury was rested for Tuesday night's 1-1 draw against Shrewsbury as a precaution after picking up a slight knock at the weekend.

Crawley's hectic fixture shedule meant in-form striker Matt Tubbs, who has scored six goals in seven appearances since rejoining the club on loan from Bournemouth, was also given a breather in midweek as boss John Gregory rotated his squad again.

Teenage frontman Jonte Smith has been allowed to join Finnish second division club Kemi Kings on loan.

Colchester could welcome back top goalscorer Jabo Ibehre.

The seven-goal striker has missed the U's last three games with hip and pelvic problems but is approaching full fitness and may be risked by Joe Dunne, whose side are only three points above the relegation zone.

Alex Gilbey made his comeback from a hamstring injury as a substitute in the midweek defeat to Bradford and could also be thrust into action.

Long-term absentee Drey Wright (knee) is making good progress as he continues his rehabilitation but is set to head out on loan to regain match fitness.
