Clarke missing for Crawley

Crawley could be without top scorer Billy Clarke once again when they host Brentford.

The four-goal striker was due return against Stevenage last weekend having missed the previous three matches with a knee ligament problem, but he was still feeling the injury later in the week and had to sit out the 2-0 defeat.

Winger Kyle Bennett should keep his place after a lively debut following his loan move from Doncaster while boss Richie Barker has no new injury concerns as he attempts to bounce back from successive defeats.

Midfielder Nicky Adams and striker Gary Alexander will hope to line up against their former club.

Brentford could be unchanged after registering their third straight win last weekend.

Goalkeeper David Button returned from a shoulder injury in the 1-0 victory over Shrewsbury to give boss Uwe Rosler a full-strength squad to choose from.

Midfielder Alan McCormack is set to continue at right-back in place of Shaleum Logan while on-loan Sheffield Wednesday centre-half Martin Taylor will have to settle for a place on the bench again.

Marcello Trotta will keep his place in attack after his second goal in three matches sank the Shrews and lifted Brentford to fifth.
