Hurst missing for Town

Crawley will be without defender James Hurst when they host Bradford.

Hurst was sent off during the 3-2 defeat by Newport in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy 10 days ago and serves a one-match ban.

Town, who did not play last weekend after their meeting with Bristol City was postponed due to international call-ups, can welcome back Joe Walsh from Wales Under-21 duty while fellow centre-half Kyle McFadzean should return after a bout of flu.

Boss Richie Barker also rested Billy Clarke, Andy Drury and Dannie Bulman against County so they could return to the starting line-up.

Bradford central defender Rory McArdle is expected to return to the starting line-up.

McArdle missed last week's home defeat to Tranmere as he was on international duty with Northern Ireland but is expected to go straight back into the side as Andrew Davies remains sidelined following knee surgery.

Defender Matthew Bates is hoping to make his first appearance for the club. He was an unused substitute last week, while another recent signing, Caleb Folan, could be handed his first start up front.

Leading goalscorer Nahki Wells is still out due to an ankle injury sustained in the recent home win over Shrewsbury.
