The Crawley Town Supporters Club and fan group the Devils Trust are in discussion over forming a single supporter organisation. The Devils Trust was formed in 2006 to ensure supporters and the community were represented in running the club. [LNB]"The late Bruce Winfield desperately wanted just one organisation," Supporters Club chairman Ron Parsons told BBC Sussex and BBC Surrey. [LNB]"The proposal is that both groups dissolve and a new group is formed." [LNB]Parsons added: "I feel we owe it to Bruce to carry out his wishes and I am adamant it will happen.[LNB] [LNB][LNB] "Our membership will vote on it, but I am confident it will go through." [LNB]Ian Townsend, chairman of the Devils Trust, also believes that one single group will be in everyone's best interests. [LNB]"There's been a demand for it for quite a while and we've been working together this season," Townsend said. [LNB]"We all want the same thing, and that is for the club to thrive in our community.[LNB] [LNB][LNB] "We're all committed to making it happen if that's what all our members want. [LNB]"But we've got to get this right. There's no point in rushing into something that in the long term won't work properly."
