Proctor rescues Red devils

Jamie Proctor and Andy Monkhouse shared all four goals as Crawley and Hartlepool drew 2-2 at the Broadfield Stadium.

All four goals came in the last 20 minutes and striker Proctor put Crawley ahead by tapping in a cross from Josh Simpson in the 70th minute.

Monkhouse levelled for Pools by heading in following a left-footed cross from Luke James five minutes later.

James set Monkhouse up again in the 80th minute and the latter was on target with a left-footed dipping volley into the top corner.

Mike Jones struck the post for the Red Devils before Proctor grabbed a point in the final minute of normal time with a close-range finish.

Pools goalkeeper Scott Flinders was beaten in the 36th minute when a rasping 25-yard drive from Mike Jones came back off the post.

Relegated Hartlepool threatened shortly after the break when a fierce 25-yard drive from Monkhouse was tipped over by Crawley goalkeeper Paul Jones.
