Late Shaun Miller strike ends run of five losses for Morecambe
Top-scorer Shaun Miller grabbed a dramatic later equaliser as Morecambe halted a run of five successive defeats with a 1-1 draw at Crawley Town.
Miller, returning after a three-match suspension, cancelled out a 53rd minute Matt Harrold strike by firing home left-footed seven minutes from time.
Miller cashed in on poor defending to hit his 12th league goal of the season after a corner by substitute Paul Mullin was flicked on by Chris Doyle.
Crawley defender Jon Ashton came to his side's rescue early on by clearing a goal-bound shot from Alex Kenyon off the line following a corner to the back post by Jamie Devitt.
Former Fulham midfielder Lyle Della-Verde later set up Frankie Sutherland but he drove over from the edge of the area for the hosts.
Crawley had the greater first-half possession and Welsh winger Gwion Edwards forced keeper Barry Roche to parry his low shot on the half hour.
Luke Conlan threatened for Morecambe just before the interval when breaking through, but his goal-bound shot was parried by keeper Paul Jones.
Crawley broke the deadlock eight minutes into the second half through striker Harrold who drilled home from 12 yards after Della-Verde had a shot blocked.
