Crawley pay outstanding tax bill

Crawley Town have announced they have cleared their outstanding tax bill.The Blue Square Premier side were the subject of a winding up order in the High Court from HM Revenue and Customs. [LNB]The club's co-owner Sue Carter said: "It was paid a fortnight ago but sometimes you cannot stop these things running their course. [LNB]"We had a cash flow shortage in January caused by a lack of games because of postponements but all outstanding bills have been paid." [LNB]Manager Steve Evans told BBC Surrey: "There's everyone involved at this football club playing a part to get the club in such a good position come the end of the season. [LNB]"This week again they told me we are on target to do that so that's great." [LNB]Crawley are currently 10 points off the play-offs in the Blue Square Premier and are on a seven-game unbeaten run in the league.
