Cowdenbeath surrendered top spot in the Third Division following defeat to Montrose at Links Park.The visitors took the lead after eight minutes when John Robertson's cross was volleyed home by John Gemmell. Player-manager Steven Tweed levelled for Montrose with a header from Stephen Black's corner on 65 minutes.
